Blah Blah Blah

I had hoped to have been able to upload some of the photo's I talked about yesterday. Unfortunately I still don't have any credit on the mobile but tomorrow hopefully. I find myself constantly amazed by nature. We went for a walk today, out into the countryside near to here. The wildlife just blew me away. Ducks, moorhens, fish, etc. I guess it's with not having the car on the road that I don't get out & about as much as I used to. Going out of the city, out of the smoke is great. I wish I was organized enough & had enough money to live out of the city, but when you don't have a lot of money, living in the sticks isn't an option. In some ways I like the convenience of living in the city, the entertainment, the shops etc. In other ways I loath the pollution, the noise, all the people. It would be nice to have both but beggars can't be choosers.

I know some might say, well get off your backside & earn some money so you can, but why should money dictate where we can or cannot live. Surely everyone is entitled to at a minimum, unpolluted air & peace & quiet. Then again may be not, may be we should let money rip and be king & let it decide where we all live. I prefer another way, I think land should be distributed more equally. Why is it that 10% of the population in this country own 90% of the land that's never right. We need a new constitutional settlement in this country, that includes rather than excludes the 90% who are at the moment dis-enfranchised from most of the land. I mean it's not as if there isn't enough to go around.

Our government have made token gestures to opening up the land, 'right to roam' legislation etc. But it simply does not go far enough. We all need the right to live with nature if we choose to do so. Im not suggesting we all go and live in mud huts, but some form of compromise must be possible. I look forward to the day when rich & poor alike can equally share this near 'garden of eden' that we all live in. Well I can hope can't I :) ?.
