Armistice Day - Lest We Forget & Alexandre Dumas - The Three Musketeers
Armistice day commemoration at Coventry Cathedral, Bombed in the 2nd World War. Millions of people across the UK have paid their respects to those who have died in war, with a two-minute silence
In Ipswich's Field of Honour, both young and old took time to honour the war dead
My great grandfather was a conscientious objector during World War One. He served on some of the worst battlefields of the war as a medical orderly. I never knew him but I inherit his pacifist ideal. I commemorate the day here as I hate war of any kind it's pointless & sickening, but I have the utmost respect for those that died for our freedom in both world war's, all those years ago. They are not forgotten.
This is the Project Gutenberg version which you can do as you please with it's out of copyright. Alexandre Dumas - The Three MusketeersCharlie

Hi Michele,
Thank's, It's important to remember, so it never happens again. People all to easily forget the horror of war when it's not on their own doorstep. Also both the World Wars are nearly out of living memory, sadly. so I suppose it's upto our generation to pass on the message now ;)
Yes this weeks's OK hope everything's OK at your end...
