Well not quite but, the debate in America on green energy moves on with or without the current less than green President. However a comment in the Bush state of the union address about America needing to end it's dependance on oil, prompted me to look at what's going on in Texas the President's home state, and it's interesting. McCamey, is home to the largest windfarm complex in Texas. And some project it is too with a total capacity of 75 MegaWatts & some 107 wind turbines. Each turbine is 55 Meters high with a rotor size of 48 meters, that must be a stunning sight the picture above, beautiful though it is hardly does it justice. In the AudioBlog below a debate on the direction of the evangelical right & it's movement towards green energy & an exploration of the McCamey WindFarm above give an insight into what one of the American states is doing & an oil state at that, & the motives behind the massive investment in wind power.
